How is this going to help?
All classes need outside help, other than the teacher. More time is needed for the older students, believe it or not. They have learned bad habits, and need the most motivation and have the least guidance. There are basic things to learn in each subject, and we are here to make sure the foundation is set properly, so you will succeed no matter where you end up.
What can TimbukTutors offer that I cannot get with other online tutors?
Well, heck, I don't really know how to answer this one. But over here, we are actual teachers, parents and professors. We know what the students struggle with and how to help them. It's almost like we are careful mind readers. We know where you are likely to make that little mistake, and if you do mess up, we are here to guide you the rest of the way. Come on, everyone makes mistakes. So long as you are gently corrected, you will learn from them.
What if the student and tutor’s personalities don’t work well together or the student doesn't like it?
This is one of the advantages of taking your lessons with us – we have 13 tutors so if a problem occurs – which is extremely rare – we can switch you over to one of the others. If you think you may get more out of lessons from a teacher with a different teaching style, we have the flexibility to change you to another instructor.
